We present to your attention the first full-length release on Sen Production, the Sub-label of the Abstract. The Obsidian is a young electronic project from Kostroma. In terms of sound, the musician balances between precisely calibrated structured rhythms and dreamy synthesizer melodies. In his work, Sergey prefers a fairly wide range of genres: ambient, bass, breakbeat, idm, future garage, downtempo, trip-hop. The artist was noted by organizing a series of SVET events in his hometown, as well as collaborations with Missu and Extence.
Catharsis is the debut album of The Obsidian, which became a reflection of the author’s inner experiences. Dozens of sleepless nights and hundreds of emotional explosions fit in 50 minutes of timekeeping. The musician very long went to ensure that the result was a versatile in sound, but clearly united by the idea of the first album, where lashy percussion, driving vibrations and cosmic melodies harmoniously interwoven.
